Friend of my sent his application on 11 October but returned because he forgot to sign! Then re-submitted his application soon after returned and got his AOR today November 24, 2017 !!!
How come so many of us still waiting? This is not fair

I checked the CIC website by using my UCI number and saw the following information. If that means my application is in the process, then please update my status. Thank you

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 16, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada.

Technically not "in Process". That's just the AOR (Acknowledgement that your app was received and basic completion checks done). Once they forward your application to your nearest local case processing center, then your status should update again to show "In Process".

Hi ,

My kid's application status didn't change to Inprocess where as the status got updated (Inprocess) to both parent applications on 22nd Nov...
Should i wait for some more days for my kid's app status change or calling cic would help ?

Any thoughts please...
