they received my app on apr 28. still no med request. however i've seen on the spreadsheet that april people are starting to get their med requests. so, hopefully, our turn will come soon!
I sent the application on September 1st, AOR was October 30th.
Schedule A and Police Check request were on October 30th and I submitted them through CIC on November 5th.
Congrats!! That's some quick work by CIC, seems they are catching up on the applications. My wife's timeline is pretty similar and now I'm hoping she gets it soon too, thank you for the update.
My husband forgot the exact date and month he become a naturalized canadian only remenber the year(2009) and also forgot/ does know his UCI/client # since it was really his parents who did the whole application..
anyone had this issue? how did do it?

congrats. that was quick. i hope my wife’s owp will also be approved in less than a month too. lol. she’s on a work permit expiring february 2018. other applicants got their owp average 4 months. thanks for sharing.
I'm in similar situation, received Feb 2017, same status. Medical was done/passed in July. Have you been asked for police check? As I have not... No updates since July
Sometimes they don't change the status of the background check until you get DM, I've been told. I have a friend who applied Inland on January 9th, he sent PCC and Schedule A upfront, medical was never requested, however it was "reviewed" and "passed" about a month ago and shortly after he received AIP. He hasn't received SA yet as far as I know and this week he received a letter saying that he will receive another letter to set a date for interview. (Note that he couldn't link his application, so he can only check ECAS and receive regular mail from CIC).
Regarding the fact that you haven't been asked for PCC, if you didn't submit it upfront, I recommend you contact an agent on the phone or send a webform regarding it, I recently read here about someone who had the same situation and the agent told them that their PCC and Sch A should have been submitted already and their application was "on hold" waiting for it. They are full of glitches sometimes...
I'm an Australian Citizen (dual Citizen Australian/French) and I live in Toronto. I was on an IEC (Working Holiday Visa) expiring September 21st 2017. I applied for PR & OWP on September 1st and they received it September 5th.
