My IELTS score will be coming out on 24th Nov (tomorrow), and based on that if my CRS turns out to be 450 (as I expect), and if I create an express entry application on 25th Nov, will I be eligible to be selected in the draw on 29th Nov(if it happens as is speculated). From what I assume, CRS is going down to 430 and if I have 450, will I be selected in 4 days time span only or there is some time one needs to wait in the pool?

Hi! Yes you will be eligible to be selected on Nov 29 (hopefully if there is a draw). Even if you create your EE profile on Nov 29 before the CRS cut-off is released, you will still be eligible to get ITA. Cheers!

The CRS score on Nov 29 will definitely be less than the last CRS (439). We all hope it will be <435 though. If the Nov 29 score is > 435, definitely if there is another draw on Dec 6, then the CRS on Dec 6 might be <435. Anything is possible.

Can I create my express entry profile while my spouse's WES is in progress?
Will I be eligible to receive an ITA if WES is still in progress for him?

Hi. No you CANNOT create an Express Entry profile without your spouse's WES reference number. And you CANNOT receive an ITA without your spouse's ECA.

To be on the safe side, I suggest you wait till the WES is completed.

fixed deposit is the safest way to show the POF.

I have a fixed deposit to show as POF once I receive ITA. Meanwhile, my FD is going to close until the verification completes, and the amount is transferred to my savings account (which is a joint account with my mother's name). Is that going to be a problem to show as PoF if my spouse and me have jointly applied for PR?

To be on the safe side, I suggest you wait till the WES is completed.

On this same forum I have seen many people who have WES in progress while they have creates an express entry profile. I also believe we can do that, because they verify documents only after getting ITA (after ITA we have 90 days time period to submit the documents). And wes usually takes 20-30 days for completion of evaluation.

Moreover, wes reference Num is generated on creating and submitting a wes profile for evaluation. I believe I might be able to create an express entry profile in that case, but as you said until the wes is completed, I might have to wait for receiving ITA (despite of falling within the CRS cut off?)

It is a different number, not your WES reference number so you won't be able to claim points without WES.

But what if wes is in progress? Can I still receive ITA? Because after ITA we get 90 days to submit the documents so until then wes evaluation might complete (as it takes usually 20-30 days). Or until wes is completed, I might not get an ITA even if I am way away from crs cut-off?
