Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2017

Hi Everyone,

I had sponsored both my Parents and In-laws for 2017, and am still waiting on an AOR. I was selected in the first round, my application was sent on July 23rd and was received on July 27th. But there is no update on the ecas, and no email yet. Are there anyone still waiting on communication from CIC for AOR?

I have a quick question regards to a slight change in my Ecas.

Last week my Ecas would appear like
Sponsorship ApplicationStatus - "Application Received" (Clickable link)
Permanent Residence Application Status - "Application Received" (Clickable link)

However today when I opened Ecas the option became like below, sponsorship application status category disappeared and replaced to below format...

Applicant - *My Name* (non-clickable)
Permanent Residence Application Status - "Application Received" (Clickable link)

Does this mean I got SA ? I havent receive any email or mail for SA. In fact, I havent even receive anything for AOR....

Can anyboby with SA approved tell me what's your ecas looks like ?

ECAS status often changes randomly so no big deal. This is not SA; you will get an email first (AOR) then a letter/email for SA after a few weeks.

Why is it taking so long for Ottawa to start sending medical forms to Spring 2017 PGP applicants...?

they have a lot of cases 2014-2016 and you have to wait all that people will get PPR,why CIC need to increase medical done cases if medical is valid 1 year, do you want to pay twice for IME, thats not too cheap by the way

Yes. One person in this forum and in our sheet too from first round. The person got a letter to say the sponsor application is rejected because of the insufficient income for 2014 .

Hello everyone, Just a quick question about H and C application. My mother is here on supervisa but I am thinking of applying for her on H and C grounds. The issue is I have a dependent sibling who 21 years old back home. Is it possible to include my sibling in this application even though they are not here in Canada?

What exactly is her H&C issue? Basically she would need to show undue hardship or a danger to her life if she were to return to home country.

If she has an adult son living in home country, it's very doubtful a H&C app would be approved as he can care for her there.

I sent my sponsorship application on 1st Aug, and have received an AOR email from CPC Missisauga today. Letter dated 20th Nov. My eCAS still shows nothing.

Could someone please update my info on the spreadsheet.

Last year by the end of October Ottawa already sent out medicals to many people.

If you have received an AOR, you should be able to see your application on eCas. Use the Application number / case number (it is provided on the AOR and the file attached to the AOR is named after your application number in the format F999999999) and enter your family name, your date of birth and your place of birth (same as in the application).

We have same timeline and I am able to see eCas since saturday November 18th
