Status on ECAS: In Process
Currently not in Canada and dont have any permit/visa to enter the country.

I have a question regarding the time they allow the applicant to enter Canada after PPR. My medical test was done on 20-Feb-2017 and from what I gather, this should mean that if i get PPR soon, they'll ask me to come by 20 Feb 2018 (12 months from medical test date).

My concern is that if they give me PPR by end of January 2018, that'll leave me only a few days to leave for Canada. In such a case, do they extend the medical validity period? If yes, then by how much? Also, would they issue a PPR so close to the 12 month expiry of medical test or do they, in this case, ask the applicant to give another medical test?

I want to see my chances of getting PPR in the next few months and plan accordingly.

You will get DM in a day or two. They make decisions randomly in a batch. You can also expect a DM soon. I've gone throught the same feeling two weeks before.

I submitted my passport on OCT 21 and CIC received on OCT 23 . My CIC account updated to application approved status last week but there is no update in the Canada post's return envelope yet. Can someone share the timelines if submitted around the same period?
