Need some information. If the wife is sponsoring her husband, Is she has to be physically present in Canada to apply?
My friend, she is Canadian, After the wedding, she's planning to move to Dubai with her husband for some time until her husband get the PR.
Her concern, can she sponsor her from outside Canada or she has to be physically present in Canada

If she chooses to stay with her husband in Dubai, then she has to show an "intent" to return back to Canada. It is of course a lot easier if the PA is in Canada and sponsor their spouse. Priority is given to those applications where the spouses are apart from one another.

If after applying she moves, that would be considered as a change in status where PA has moved out of country. Other members can correct me on this, but this will mean that the PA would again have to show intent to return back to canada. If she is a student, then enrollment in classes; if she is working, then letter from the employer etc.
It is hard to stay away from the spouse, we all have and are going through this process. But if you want the application to be processed faster, my recommendation is for the PA to stay in Canada.
Thanks Samila,
I have registered on emirates long time ago. But i dont remember any email from them. Oh well i will keep an eye out for it next time. Thanks for the info though.
I have just checked the ecas and it says Decision Made. However, when I click on Decision Made, it says this:
We sent XXX correspondence on July 9, 2017. If XXX has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have XXX do so as soon as possible. Please wait until XXX receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
Please did anyone else has the same thing on their ecas. I have sent all the documents replied back to the correspondence through my lawyer long time ago. I dont understand this.

let me do some correction here "PA" is Principal Applicant means the person who intends to migrate to Canada. in this case.. Wife is not the PA, she is the Sponsor. PA is her husband residing in Dubai.
