Hi, I am a Filipino too. I applied when I was in Abu Dhabi and changed my address when I arrived in Canada on student visa. I think you should not resign because it will take a while to receive decision on your application. Also, I thought you need to update CIC of your current address of residence. But I am not really sure. But I know why your agent is telling you to move back to the Philippines, its because ADVO relatively takes longer to process PR applications as compared to Manila applications which take less months.

Noted on this. But regarding the CIC whatsoever maybe Ill just entrust it to them because they know the process. Yes thank you kabayan for your advice. I better stay and continue my work here until i got my MR maybe.

Cant recall. The only time I submitted CV was when I applied for CSQ.

Hi Everyone, I am new here. My situation is as follows:
Application received 18 Nov 2016
AOR: 21Feb 2017
MR: 12 Oct 2017
Passport requested: 16 oct 2017
Medicals done: 17 oct 2017
Passport sent:21 oct 2017
Arrived VO: 24 oct 2017.
However, the mail requesting my passport stated that "for operational reasons they may not be able to issue my visa before Jan. 2018", hence adviced that I wait and do medicals in January and submit my documents. The same mail asked me to do my medicals and submit my passport within 60 days otherwise my application be rejected.

Has anybody witnessed this same situation? Please, kindly share your experience.

Very typical of Dakar office. It means you have 30 days to do you medicals and 60 days to send your passport. Also they want you yo know your passport may be with them for a while
