Hi. I passed my medical from OMI karachi.
My tips for you
Take your passport with you.
Take money in change.
Take some one with you to drive there.
They wont allow mobile inside.
Take a book with you to kill time.
Check your BP 2 times a day before going there and if you have tendency of high BP take a medicine from doctor before going.
Normaly they do general examination
Syphillis and HIV screening and xray.
I am doctor so they took my hepatitis C and hep B screening too ( for healthcare related people only)
Now interestlingly my BP was high due to tension and nervousness so they delay my process by asking me to submit ECG from hillpark hospital and additional tests so it cost me total 20000.

My last tip is Take an off from office on that day. Just relax yourself before going and reach there before time of appointment like half hour. Its mostly first come first thing

you can get your medical only when asks by Immigration Canada. They now stop doing front medical anymore. Once you receive a letter asking to go for medical, follow the instructions from that letter. Letters explains step by step process how to book an appointment. IF you go there without an appointment they won't take you won't let you in. Once letter recevie, there is an email that you need to send and request for your medical appointmnet

keep pp and copr at hand and lists of goods if you are bringing any later (goods to follow). fill the declaration card that you will get in the plane and give it to thr immigration officer .

they will ask u questions listed on the copr. Address that you will be staying at so they can mail your pr card on that address. they asked me how long i have been married. if i was bringing any food items...say no. thats it

sorry i think i am not being clear enough.

i know we can no longer do upfront medical. my question is specific, lets say after you get the request and you make an appointment and all that stuff.

lets say PA made an appointment for 1pm how much earlier does PA have to go, are there lineups? then once 1pm rolls around, will they call PA on time or will the PA end up waiting longer after 1pm. basically what i was asking is do they stick to the appointment time or is it normal to make an appointment for 1pm and end up being seen by a doctor at 3pm. i hope thats clearer.

If you are going for a consultant then she should help u out with the format, sample letter etc. Also

@Kinza_Bee you also provided letters of sypport right? Can u help?

The more organic and original they look the better. Get each per wiring it to include how they know you, how long they have known your spouse, if they attended the wedding, what they know about you two as a couple etc.

They asked me the same. You can have it translated and certified as well from any Notary public in Pakistan. you can either scan it or mail it original to the LVO.

They just asked the certified copy of nakah nama in urdu with english translation ....

My wife just did her medical in Sept and her appointment was at 10:00am. She reached there by 930am but she waited for an hour bcoz there were other people still waiting for their turn. She was called around 11:00am and her medical was done around 1:00pm. So give and take reach there half an hour early at least and make a margin of minimum of 3 hours for total medical process. So if your appointment is at 10am you will be free to go home by 1:00 but that is not final it can be little early or little late.

Hi I requested for suggestion earlier and now again requesting to suggest if any one had same situation then plz guide me we have already waisted one week, my previous marraige notice of divorce were given on 25/11/13 and submitted request to union council on 12/4/14 and they issued certificate on 9/9/14. But they mentions same 25/11 date as effective and failure of reconciliation.

Now lvo didn’t ask abt this but ask to provide divorce certificate /divorce notice and 3 letters of union council, but I don’t have these 3 letters when I requested to union council they don’t have and they share copy of backup file with and said all done as process now I am stuck what to do neither they are ready provide any letter that mistake is from their side.

Secondly they ask more pictures outside marriage and communication as he stated that provided is limited so we have all these we can give them but how manage divorce issue as my certificate issue date is almost after 10 months and my second marriage date is December 2015, as they said clearly they will take decision based on our reply and proof so all of you guys plz share you halp and guidance which help me to satisfy Officer.
