It has been 12 months since I submitted my application, done my medical exams and paid landing fee. Today, I received an email that my file has been updated. When I checked, the only thing that was changed is the Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

What does it mean at this stage of application? Does it mean a DM soon? Hehehe

I actually forgot what it was. But I think it was "Not Applicable"

I have same opinion as others. This update means that someone is working on your file and if you submitted your application around mid-Oct 2016 , then you will get DM soon.
