I do not remember anything about old / new members. He just said that they had discount for quarterly payment. However, it was said that it is cheaper for customers to pay it annually right at the end of his speech relating this question.

Nope, they said that they had made discount for quarterly payment, however the annual payment is still more profitable, I remember this really clearly.

I think you’re confusing quarterly and monthly. First they talked about monthly then they said anually was better. Then they talked about special quarterly offers for new members. And the question was specific for new members. So the answer is quarterly. It’s almost always the last answer mentioned that is the correct one in listening.
