Hi,
Do you know if ecase says "Decision Made", how long it takes to get PPR request?
I thought "Decision Made"" status online changes after visa issuance.
Last status says Medical received.
7-14 days. Which month/year applicant are you?

thanks for reply. Its not spousal and its for my mother. Since visa office is London, I thought I should ask.
I assume London office will ask Islamabad office to send PPR request?
Yes since may and June applicants are still waiting.
But May and June applicants have had their background checks started, haven't they ? Doesn't this mean they haven't even started background check yet ? If that's the case well then God knows how many months they'll take.

London sends ppr pdf letter via email or as a message in your mycic account if u have any. Then the passport has to be submitted at the vfs.

Only 2 applicants as per the spreadsheet ave their background checks started
Follow the average timeline and sit back and relax.

I am following the average but I assume if they haven't started their background checks either then it'll likely take longer than the average. And I am relaxed as well waiting, I haven't taken any drastic measures. I post to get others input not to sound selfish. I assume initial review means background check, on average how long does the background check go on for?

Initial review means initial review of eligibility. Usually lvo mentions the words "routine background checks" when they refer to background checks. BGC can take anywhere from 1 day to many months.

Ok so after the initial review they conduct the background check?

Earlier it used to be after eligibility review, but now Im not so sure. I have added another column in the 2017 spreadsheet for time taken between BGC and DM. The data is very limited, though. Further statistics are at the bottom of the page..

I just had a baby boy born on Nov 1 2017. How do I inform CIC?
What documents do I send and how?Do I upload online - how?
I am Canadian Citizen applied for wife. 2nd Medical is requested already.
Congrates on the baby.
You can send them the birth certificate via webform but make sure to apply for his temp passport. You will find the info n forms on cic website.
You will need from NADRA
1 birth certificate
2 Bay form from nadra ( this is additional to birth certificate)
3. FRC showing you your spouse and child as family.
Now semd it along the required forms and your ppt n citizenship copy. ( usualy they ask for original and send originals the will tcs u back with baby’s passport. )
Also attach the emails and ecas of your spousal application to show you intend to travel when your spouse gets ppr.
You need to inform cic through webform for your spousal immigration however your child does not need to be sponsord as he will be a canadian citizen.

so going to the MP was a waste of time! Just called to let me know eligibility, security and criminality are 'pending' whatever that means! So I told her that was not helpful at all, as I knew this already. got the usual responses, its too early, not every file is the same, there is a queue, blah blah blah! I just wanna drown myself in the pool of my tears! I don't know how you guys did it, some of you who did for years and are still stuck in this limbo. I just wanna be with him already
thinking of ordering my notes again right now, even though last order will be arriving in a couple of weeks time.
