Yes no promises broken. But remember it is a commitment they took not with us applying but to their government based on many factors. The government decided on doing immigration based on many factors and they have invested a lot in it. CIC comes up with a plan and commitment to satisfy the economic demands. If these demands are not met they willl have to answer to their authorities to explain why they were not upon all the resources provided to them. In other words we are not their boses nor do they owe us anything but they have their own bosses or people to answer to and give them explainations or reasons and even defend themselves when things dont go as planned. So if the have a target of 300k and acheive 250k , they have explanation to give as to why they could not meet that target.Not to as applicants , they owe us nothing, we are just elements they use to acheive their targets. If they were not being audited , or had to answer to parliament or to other organs, i dont think they would even process up to 100k applications
failing shared service system (federal IT backbone) , surge of asylum seekers, resource crunch they have umpteen reasons to justify ( why EE can't be stretched by a month from 6 to 7 months ?) to justify at the end who is suffering - we the people ....

For the past 2 year CIC has acheived its target for QSW. The amount they set and recei e from Quebec govt is the amount they admit. The number is usually around 29k and max 31600.. last year they admittted the max. The number or QSW applicants is almost 3 times the number of applicant they are allowed to admit. They cant control it. Thats why the remaining appliactions are processed the following year with the next intake hence the long processing time. For EE their target is about 150k and just about that number applies or even less whicb sometimes makes them to reduce the CRS score so that more can apply. So its operational resons, and not that they dont care about qsw. Currently my VO when sending out ppr for qsw only , advkse you that for operational reasons your visa and cpr maynot be issued before jan 2018. Which means they are almost reaching their quota. Before CIC announced their 2018 target MIDI had already announced how many qsw cic will admit next year and guess what? Thats the same number on cic website. So the problem is not cic, as they always achieve the qsw target. The issue is with quebec. Ask the quebec government to increase their targets...
You cannot have more than one application with cic under the same category or type at the sametime.. Ex 2 pr applications or 2 trv. You can have a pr application ( eg family class, skilled worker) and an TRV application ( eg work permit, visitors visa) at the same time but not a family class and skilled worker at the sametime or visitor and work permit at the sametime
It has been a week since we got the email about needing more time to verify documents. In that time, the lady who has power of attorney over our file, has left the company!!!! So now, I don't understand where our CSQ was going to be sent but they sent the email about verification of documents to her.
I am worried that they did sent her a request for us to do the interview but we have not gotten it. Is there a way to take someone off of power of attorney on these things and just be communicated with directly?

The processing time reflects the amount of time it took CIC to process 80% of applications in a certain time (forgot if it is a year or some months). The processing time can change at any time, in any direction. It says 14 months now - it could be 9 months after a year, or it could be 18 months after a year. There is no good way to tell and that is the problem of Immigration Canada, that they cannot give a timeframe during which you will be processed for sure.

We sent you correspondence on October 12, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
I called my loyer rapresentative but she said i didnt get any email or mail.
Can anybody let me know how long i should wait for the correspondence to come??? What should i do??? Im getting crazy
