I am inland applicant, i am back in my home country for several moths? Do i need to update my address with my home country current address in ECAS? or if i do not change the address, keep the Canadian address.. does it make any problem?
It makes no sense, Federal 6 months and QSW 14. Sure there's something weird there because Quebec checks everything about the applicants before sending the CSQ.
In between I got response from CIC on my application. Looks like my application will get delayed past posted processing time. They got back to me in 23 hours on my email.

I think they are doing just their lip service they know it has anyways breached 13 months limit long back .... i suspect no one has worked on federal applications since last 6 months ... especially for Oct-Nov 2016 applications ... guys be ready for long uncertain period ...
Also they are just saying 14 months ...actually it would have crossed 15-16 months as we have seen for many applicants...
How come doesn't Quebec care about its applicants? Usually they are so vocal about any inequality and injustice done to the province, but they don't seem to be bothered by the fact that their applicants are subject to very long processing times. I mean, they are not gaining any money from additional applications for work permits, visitor visas etc. that we have to apply to stay in the country, those payments go to CIC.

Yeah slightly discouraging, eh? They did tell my colleague at the border when she went to get a study permit to her kid, that it will take approximately 18 months for PR but I thought it was a very rough estimate. I'm starting to think it wasn't....
Well, I've applied for a new passport so I guess I will soon hassle CIC with a copy of that, just to bother them

Holy smokes this is a broad question. First of all, you have arrived at the Quebec section of this forum: if you really, really, really want to consider Quebec as your province, please visit Immigration Quebec website for information http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/ . If you feel like another province is more for you, start from Immigration Canada http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/

i think 14 months period is just in the papers or just for the reference itself, i have submitted my application in July'2016 and @Can_Dream also submitted his application in june'2016 but we both are still waiting for the DM yet.
Furthermore we have seen many applicants with ADVO usually gets the finalization of their application in 18-19 months in average.
Hey! Looking at the excel sheet, we both applied the same day and have the same timeline. When was the last time you looked at your GCMS notes? I have ordered mine more than 30 days ago and still haven't received them. Have they started your security/criminality check?
