man two months for a photo request ... they need to up their game ... did you get an email? or saw request as a message online on mycic? .. also what time of the day? ... since I'm trending a day behind you ... expecting the same then today ...

I got an email around 1 PM Eastern time yesterday. I don't have a message in MyCIC even with my application being linked.

I received request to send new photos on Oct 31. Sent it the same day. The pictures got delivered today and the online status changed to Additional documents that you provided have been uploaded. Lets see how much time does it take now to get my card.

Landed: July 19
Received a photo request: Sep 14 (I sent the photo the same day as I received the request).
Photo received by CIC: I'm not sure, as I didn't track it as I have lost the Canada Post Receipt.
Application Approved: November 2

What are your timelines again? I see they are already working on Photos received by Sep 14 onwards.. You'll get your approval soon!..

My wife’s photos were received by them on 6th Oct. But the problem is we Would be traveling out of Canada on 24th Nov. Hope I get the card before that

Nope. You just have to expect it in 3-5 days

For those of you that have had their Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) account with temporary SIN before you landed: once you landed and got your new permanent SIN number - can you log in to your account?

I can't, it says "Error-ERR.041" and I have a feeling it has something to do with my new SIN

Called them on Nov. 1, the agent said there was no update...

You have to set up your new CRA account using your new SIN and the old will be blocked. You can register your self using the new SIN and the one time password will be provided to your registered email id. You need to call though in order to receive ur new pin to CRA. Hope this helps!
