Hi. Is my 3 month old son a part of my family size for the year 2014? I am short by a minimal amount for the year 2014 but way above living for 2015 and 2016.

Is it possible not to add my son who is only 3 Month old in the 2014 calculation?

My baby born in January this year and about counting family size I called cic call centre and I was told that I need to count baby only for 2016 even though baby born in 2017 we start counting from 2016. I don't know wMy suggestion is to call cic call centre to make sure.

The call centre agents are very often wrong.

Your family size at time of submitting app, is the family size you need to meet for all 3 preceding tax years.

Ok. I applied in July and even with counting baby I had enough family income. I was not sure how to count family size that's why I called cic but you are right they can be wrong.

I am still waiting for updates on my file.

I just have a quick question. after reading the instruction guide, looks like there are two different addresses to send application forms. I have mentioned below:

***Put your forms along with your receipt and all the supporting documentation in an envelope and mail it to:

***If you are sending the application by a courier service, use the following address (no public drop-offs):

No, it's fine. I sent to the same address and the application is being processed.
