For those in the Toronto area, I'm thinking of Tim Hortons coffee gatherings near Union Station starting in February.

We didn't spend too much time in Union Station. Does it have a food court area? We did see a 24 hour Tims a block away. Or, if the gatherings got big enough, we saw a huge food court at Simcoe place with Tims and at least 15 other places, along with enough tables for hundreds!

They were planing for 450,000 in 2018 ...but now looks like only 300,000,...is this going to impact CRS?...

It doesn't say that its 300k for 2018. It says that 300k is now the Minimum. Let's hope that they increase it by 10 to 20% atleast.

If the November 2017 onward draws have a cutoff of 3000+ ITAs then the CRS cut off may drop significantly.

Yes..CIC said its minimum. They may increase these quota for 2018. Who knows they may invite 450,000. I think this will definetaly drop CRS to 420 in 2018. Hope for the best and Cic will come with good news...

Don't worry. If they target 300k then also it will drop to 400. As in 2017 CRS start from 468 around and end 436.
So everyone above 400 get the ITA

Lets not loose hope. In a similar situation. Will go from 420 to 415 on Nov 10th.
This will be the last 5 point reduction. Next time it will be an 11, definitely not waiting till then.

If indeed he increases it from 300k to 450k, I think crs will drop to 410-415.
