Guys! Something is moving in my file!

In MyCIC it says "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.", and a line was added in ECAS:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 13, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 10, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on March 10, 2017.
4. We sent you correspondence on October 16, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I haven’t seen anything yet, but now I’ll be waiting next to the mail box.... (seems like it’s taking an awful long time btw...I’m an inland applicant living in Montreal....)

Curious what it is... but whatever it is, someone has looked at my file!

I will urge all inland folks ( we have atleast that provision )who have crossed or about to cross 13 months timeline to reach out to their local MP at let them know unexplained delays QSWP folks are facing ,I believe if we bring this in notice of multiple representatives it might help to expedite proceed and will help all fellow QSWP applicants ....

Looks anothe system glitch or ghost message from CIC ....

So far we have seen such messages in GCKey only. But this one came up in eCAS. I would be cautious and call CIC to confirm if anything is pending.

It might be MR. Assuming you submitted all required docs and your application is a routine one. Either ways if i were you i would call CIC.

Guys, Does any one know if Original CSQs of parents need to be returned back to MIDI while applying for CSQ for newborn baby?

Would that be send by regular mail..? Actually I’m not even sure it is regular mail... I’m thinking it may be for my security check for The Netherlands. We don’t submit those with the application, CIC has to request it. So it might be that.

Ironically I actually spent an hour on the phone with CIC (on my 11th attempt and obviously mostly waiting....), for a question about my work permit application. I’m gonna see if there’s anything tomorrow and call Friday if there isn’t. Never thought I’d ever call them twice in the same week....!

Should I be concerned that it's been exactly one year and a week and I have not received a Medical Request yet? The 19 November will make 13 months. I was thinking of waiting until next month before applying pressure. Really frustrating. Any thoughts?

Nearly 23 months here and yet no medical request.

This year applicants received their AORs quickly or on time. but MRs.......delaying.anyone applied in March or after received their MRs.

I have never heard anyone receiving MR via mail. All of us provided email ids with application and all the communication is via emails and updates in eCAS/GCKey

When I received MR, I got
a) email from CIC with medical forms attached
b) email from GCKey regarding updates in GCKey
c) Request letter + forms uploaded in GCKey
d) Updates in eCAS next day.

No. If other applicants in your VO have same status as you.
