Yes i think that too.
for what i think is that they no particular sequence. they are just going by whatever they are getting their hands on.
god only knows whats the story behind the officers passing over our files and giving DM for people who applier after us.

Even i applied for my GCMS notes on sep 12 and thats also not coming.
this thing is so sitty.

Hello Everyone,

My application timeline :

Application received on aug 17 , AOR 1 received on oct 02 followed by SA received on oct 10. I submitted schedule a and police check on oct 11 - no medical request yet. Today, I checked my ecas online and it changed from 'application received' to ' in process' this week.

I called the IRCC call centre and in the menu when i entered my application # to check the status ,

- it states that my application was received on above date
- followed by 'we are checking your sponsorship eligibility' ( i already received SA letter in the mail )
- followed by ' we have received your additional documents' ( may be referring to schedule a and pcc)
-followed by ' we are reviewing your medical results ' ( no email/letter yet about medical request)

And today my ecas shows ' in process'

Below questions:
1. Does the applicant receive medical request before ecas shows ' in process' ?
2. Does gcc key online account usually states that cic sent an email or letter requesting medical ? ( mine doesn't say anything )
3. Does the applicant in India get the medical request in the post/courier ?

Please advise me on the above situation. Thanks in advance !!!!

They can transfer the file to local VO and then it is VO responsibilty to ask for Med . In your case NDVO will ask for medical now.

2. Does gcc key online account usually states that cic sent an email or letter requesting medical ? ( mine doesn't say anything ) - Yes you will get a message in your GCKEY account. They will send you a letter will all instructions about medical and take that letter to medical center as a proof. In India once you are done with your Med exam the report is uploaded only by the clinic.

3. Does the applicant in India get the medical request in the post/courier ? - Only if you have not provided email address in your application package and you have not linked gckey account. Med request goes to GCKEY account.

Call CIC now. Also, send a case specific enquiry. I say this because to cover all your bases. The agent can send a note directly to the case handling officer. If he/she did send you the request, for some reason, you didn’t get it. They will know now and can resend the request.
