All the people complaining about not being able to travel while waiting for PPR. If you have valid WP and Trv you can tavel and if you get PPR theres 60 days time to send passport for PR.
yeah that is true!..but probably others are same with my case specially those with dependents..as me i dont want to go home until everything is done because i want to come back together with my husband so we can be together with my son..that is the thing..

Its really ridiculous thing why CIC taking much time while they're posting every week processing time 16 months. And the guys are sitting on call center if we call then they just said whats written on my cic account and we've wait almost 45 min. After reading your post, now I'm thinking I don't need to check every day status of my application.
My timeline:
AINP Received - 12 May 2016 - SRS Engg Stream
PR Application - 30 May 2016 recieved by CIC
AOR - 1st sept 2016
Medical and landing fee all is done.
Now already 16 months is completed and one month extra gonna to be over on that still waiting for PR.
The most hilarious thing told by CIC agent when I called him that If I won't get PR until next March'18 then you call back we will try to reach out your CIC officer.
Don't have any idea what these guys want to do and there is no job for engg in Alberta, thats insane.
Just done my landing at Emerson Manitoba/Pembina border. Everything was good. It took me only 10-15 mins to sing papers. Hope all of you get your PR soon. Thanks everyone.

I wonder if they make any issue of school change in background check... I originally came in uni of regina in December 2011 and I didn’t register for any class didn’t pay any fee came to BC and changed my course .... now I’m confused if this will b the issue in background check. Did study permit extension too ..,i got 3 year pgwp and now on bowp nobody asked about till now ..... now I’m worried... will there b any issue about that seniors please answer ... thanks
