Tried doing this twice just now but due to the high volume of calls, they couldn't transfer to an agent. Since we are based in the Middle East and we have received a nomination from Ontario, where is our application likely to go? @legalfalcon - do you know which email we can use to get a status on our application?

Hi guys,
Is there anyone here got nominated by Ontario under French speaking stream? I’m inquiring on my sister behalf, she got AOR on April 21st.
App status: we are processing your file
Eligibility: we are reviewing weather you meet criteria.
Medicals passed: don’t know when we just started checking a week ago.
BG:NA.
I believe Visa office might be PVO as she’s applying from Algeria.
Any insights why we are delayed and what’s going on, and is there any body has similar case??

After 190 days of waiting... no I didn't get ppr. Instead i got a request for cv and family information. Looks like I'm heading to screening after all.

Anyone here with Eligibility Review Required yet? That's my case for more than 3 months and nothing seems to be changing(at least through the gcms notes), no one even touched my file along September...

Did they call you for an interview or could you see something through your gcms notes?

What I've heard is that it's usually related to job duties(not always).

I have no tips on why I'm on this status, trying to wait for next gcms note to see the reason why and perhaps file a CSE.

I am April 25th AOR.
Didn't get any update since medicals were passed on 20th June and additional PCC requested.
I contacted Ottowa on 27th Sept, they advised that my file is being processed at Manila VO.
I got the PPR from Manila on 23rd October (1 day shy of 6 months!) which ended up in my junk folder!
The sender was manila immigration, and it looked much different than commonly seen PPR emails.

Nevertheless, finally, the wait is over for me!
I will be around in the forum and keep in touch with you wonderful people for as long as I can.

Please remember, you may not get updates on a regular basis but rest assured CIC is working on every application.
Be patient and your day will come.
