No need to worry at all. Your application is progressing just fine. Especially if your eligibility, criminality etc have cleared, you are all good. Just wait.

Thank you... how long does security checks take? The cic agent really scared me when he said it could take aslong as 6 months.... im not worried about securiry as ive never been in trouble just trying to figure out why itd take that long
This is normal, sometimes there is an update and it may take unto 24-48 hours to see something. On occasions there may be nothing at all and your application may have been updated, but no status message sent. No need to worry about it yet. Just watch your account.

FYI, my security check has been in process for 3 months, I called cic as well. The agent didn’t provide me with any info about processing time at all. Not sure if this can make you feel better or worse. I’m not worried about the check either, but the endless wait has caused me extreme mental stress.

I have submitted my application.. but as I told u that I hav a msg in my account that your action is required but there is nothing... now I have an email from WES which says IRCC has informed them that they are unable to view my application online ... so now WES says this is due to the incorrect application choice as the WES FSWP customized application was not selected. I have to order a duplicate copy so that IRCC can view my report on d link ... I have ordered d duplicate copy today....

Can anybody tell me here what is the meaning for “waiting for officer’s review ??” Because my file gets stuck since last 6 months for officer’s review. Can anybody tell me how this things work and how much time does it take ??? My AOR is FEB 01 2017.

I have been waiting for more than 2 months now in ip2, my status of my documents show no additional documents needed. Now, I don't know if I should just wait or order gcms notes. Could this be security screening?
