Hey guys my husband and I are AINP September 20 2016 applicants received AOR in December 2016, additional documents were requested for spouse in Februrary 2017 after that we have not heard anything...
I keep seeing persons doing upfront medical and was wondering if we should go ahead and do our upfront medical so I went on the CIC website to find out where I could go to get it done.
My husband is the main applicant and he is inland and I'm in Jamaica, when I went on the site I saw this notice.....
Are you applying to sponsor your spouse, partner or child?
A new application process for the spousal sponsorship program came into effect on December 15, 2016. Upfront medical exams are no longer needed for spouses, partners or dependent children. To help avoid delays in processing, wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam.
Alot of us including myself have also been asking how do we go about doing the upfront medical I found this site that explains in detail what is expected and needed to do a medical
230 per person, 180 bucks for the doctor, 50 bucks for the x-ray at another place nearby.
I went to Dr. Jason Tsai in North York, right behind Seneca College at Finch/Don Mills. Dr. Tsai examined everything except for x-ray, then he will give you a note indicating where you are going to take the x-ray, the x-ray place is at Sheppard/Leslie, 8 minutes drive from Dr. Tsai's clinic.
BTW, they only take cash.
I'm inland AINP applicant and waiting for my MR as a lot of you are and my current BOWP (bridging open work permit) is going to expire at the end of Jan-18, so should I apply for another BOWP? I tried to initiate an application online today, it didn't have such option other than the same option of applying for your first BOWP. I am already on my BOWP (not PGWP, not regular open work permit, it says" maintained as per R183(6) APR pending" on my permit) and I recently quit my job so I can not provide job offer proof as it is a required item for the first-timer BOWP application. My PR application timeline is going to reach 16 months mark in mid dec-17 (based on the mid Aug-16 AOR date) which is in 2 months, so should I just wait out and don't even bother getting any other work permit extension?
Any thoughts or info from experience are appreciated. Good luck to all of us on the waiting game!
Hi Friends, I am about to sent my paper based PR file to nova scotia. Although I have checked my documentation thoroughly but still wanted to know that in what scenario they sent the file back so that I can be sure on those parameters. Please suggest
