Thanks

Hey guys...
It's been more than 8 months now. AOR was received on FEB 10. Background Check is NA from last 4-5 months. Requested GCMS notes 2 weeks ago. It's not good at all :/
Anyone else on the same boat?

Happy Diwali or #DiwaluMubarak Justin Trudeau style !
AOR Feb 17th. I called IRCC for the status of my application cause this is the 8th month since I received AOR.
Made two calls:
On the first call, the agent told me that my background check was cleared even though my CIC account showed it as "Not Applicable". The application was initially at Sydney, Nova Scotia and then moved to Ottawa. The agent stated that, when they moved a file from one office to the other, it may take additional 4 months for the application process to be completed. Therefore, asked me to expect something by this December.
Since I didn't ask if they have information on when the file was moved to Ottawa and what else is remaining to be checked, I made my second call. The second agent found that a note from an Ottawa officer was made on my file on March. This could mean that the file was moved on March. She also stated that my eligibility, medical, security and background checks have all been passed (I confirmed this twice) and it is currently waiting for an officer to be picked up for approval. This agent told me to expect something by the end of this month.
I have ordered for GCMS notes as well two weeks back. Patiently waiting....
anyone still waiting for PPR? or am I the only one left

this thread has so much lesser activity now
I was just watching this thread for a long time.
This is my timeline:

Raised CSE a few weeks ago and got this reply late September:
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.
While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize the application as soon as possible.
Rest assured that we will communicate with you once a decision is taken.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.
We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:
Sincerely,
I also have another application under PNP (paper application) which was submitted A year ago (September 2016). That one is also sitting there without any move.
I am in Canada for 7.5 years, have 2 Canadian born kids and a very good job, and still nothing.
So don't think you are alone.

Hello guys,
Is anyone trying to request CIC regarding checklist for spouse? I have been trying to reach them through e-mails yet I haven't received any response but just automated replies.
Ho do I crack this? Can anyone suggest, please?
