Hi. We got married on Decemeber 28 2016 and applied for spousal sponsorship in April 2017. I got done with my medical on 19 july 2017. We applied through a lawyer in canada. The lawyer forwarded me an email stating that our process has been forwaded to london on the 4th October 2017. Can I please know how much time do they take for the process in london and in how much time will I hopefully be getting my passport request.

A few April 2017 applicants have already received PPR, few have received additional document requests, and some are still waiting to hear from LVO (london visa office). Have a look at the 2017 spreadsheet:

Got a status inquiry email from LVO saying:
Your application is currently under review.
Please rest assured that we will contact you as soon as the review is complete. No further document/ information is required at this stage.

Has anyone ever got this response from them? Does this mean they’re finalizing the application and soon they’ll give DM?
It has been more than a month or so since our BGC went in process.

We got requested for additional documents and medical on October 13th.

No one can tell how long it's gonna take as that varies for each applicant bit it's good to know that it's been worked upon.

Don’t know the exact date because I don’t have an account. However I asked my mp what date BGC went in process so I’m just waiting for her reply now.

I had a question. when a file is transferred to visa office to visa office and CPC Mississauga tell us about file transfer do VO also inform us that they got our file??

Some visa offices do that but LVO doesn't.

After file transfer wait for 3 months and then order gcms notes to see progress.
