Do we get application or some reference number for the Citizenship application ? Does the waiting start from now ?
Also my PR card shows the expiry as May 2018. Do I need to renew that ? How do I do that ?

it worth noting that I sent it to the PO box address not the courier address. yet, I still got a signature..
Also, when I was sending the package, I was told that priority shipping will have the package delivered on Thu,Oct 19. while, xpresspost will be delivered Fri, Oct 20, So I chose Xpresspost. Still, my package was delivered today, Oct 19,with Xpresspost.
for those on the fence, I believe with Canada Post Priority shipping option doesn't worth it.

I agree. Priority is not worth it. I dropped my package with canada post on Sunday, Oct 15 and it was delivered on Oct 19. They missed their promose of 2 days guaranteed delivery. I am going to ask for a refund. I think its in their policy.
I totally appreciate your input, though I disagree with your "silly" call-out on this thread.
Allow me to point out three facts:
1. This thread (spreadsheet) is not prohibiting anyone from posting his/her information in the big spreadsheet.
2. The historical data (call it trend) from February to the end of September 2017 will be in fact misleading!
The reason is simple: October 11 is the date when suddenly you have tens of thousands of people who can/will apply. Hence, the historical data won't matter anymore, as the circumstances have changed significantly.
3. Over the next months, we (the people of the October 16-20 *lol*) will have a chance to discuss our progress and challenges in this thread.
I totally agree with jsm0085. There is a tracker already and it has historical data too. Why not have everything in 1 tracker .. it just makes comparing data much easier.
That is totally silly and pointless as you can't use any of the Historial but recent data as reference points. So actually this thread and spreadsheet are of no use to anyone until someone's application is approved.
You'd be far better of joining everyone else in the other thread and the other spreadsheet which will allow applicants to actually determine historical trends etc which will actually give them insight.

Due to high number of applying folks, this spreadsheet and this thread is meant for simplicity and easy to track, for whomever is interested in it.
Post your details in the link I sent you and let @meayman. add your details to the Global sheet.
Cheers.
P.S: Spreadsheet got all updated! Good luck everyone!
