I am currently working in bahrain my interview was in pakistan. I think I applied for student visa which got refused that's was the reason of my interview at the time of interview they asked me where you want your passport request I said in pakistan.

What were the questions asked regarding previous rejection? I have a similar situation and want to get an idea.

But i am already approved as a sponsor sch a send and medical also requested i applied as me being the sponsor in canada since the start of the process till now.june 30 2017 applicant.am just asking if in future i wanna go can his file still be rejected after all this if i stay more then 3 months or something

If you are a PR, you cannot leave Canada for more than a certain amount of time. If you do, your spousal application will get rejected AND you're at risk of losing you PR.

If you are not living in Canada during the sponsorship process, IRCC will ask why. If you can't convince them you're returning to Canada soon, you'll be put into line for an interview and can even get rejected.

Omg you guys I just checked my GCKEY and the background check is in process

The suspense is too real right now. I was about to go to sleep but now my eyes are peeled wide open.

However, it still says additional docs needed... I wonder why they'd update one thing but not the other.

Our as well, additional doc needed since Aug 3 and didnt changed since then but LVO said our application was updated accordingly. Our bcg started Aug 3.

Hello, every body,

I submitted my application in Nov 2016. On Oct 23rd, 2017 I got an email to send rukhsati and wedding ceremonies pictures, an explanation letter why I was not hennaed in my nikkah pics, and to indicate a period of cohabitation.
Fortunately, I was on vacation in Pakistan (August to Oct end) and I don't think so its true that they gonna reject my application on my 2+ months stay in Pak. During this time and my rukhsati and walima ceremonies were performed on September 19 and 20th.
My question is do I need to submit forms online only? As now I can see an option to upload all supporting documents as mentioned in the letter on the mycic account. or DO I ALSO NEED TO SEND HARD COPIES TO LVO AS LETTER SAYS PLEASE RETURN THIS LETTER WITH REQUIRED DOCUMENTS?

What MM is saying is that as per the guidance from IRCC, you can only sponsor while living outside of Canada if you are a Canadian citizen. In the chance that they did approve your sponsor eligibility, being a PR and living outside of Canada while sponsoring will definitely cause red flags and bring your application into question which may involve delays, interviews, and possibly rejection.

Mine also shows the same status, "need additional documents" for the past 2 months. Making MP inquiry regarding this. Not sure if it is a glitch. Hope she can help!

I believe send the hard copies too. just to be on the safe side.
Also, The upload option does have a size limit.

Yeah its 4mb and I did upload but didt hear anything or change about docs...
