Even I am FSW-O, my AOR is 28/07/2017...last time I checked around 1 month back my case was at Ottawa. Still waiting for an update

oh i see.. could it be because the government focus on FSW outland so that the applicants can fly in and start working on the economy vs CEC applicants (whom i assume) are already in Canada working? this is just my thought though..

hmmm.. My AOR is 1 day after yours. Have you tried calling them to see which part the agent is working on? or have you ordered GCMS notes?

I need some help please... I received passport request letter from CIC yesterday but it doesnt has my wife's name on it...i am living in canada and she is in India...so whats the procedure for submitting her passport ?

Yes, I tried a couple of times. When I called them the first time one month ago they said that my File is at Ottawa and everything looks good including BG check..next time i called around 10 days back the agent simply refused to share the status saying its too early for me to ask for an update. I have not ordered GCMS notes. Did you order them?

Really? I always insist on telling me where my application stage is at. The four things I would ask is if my ELIGIBILITY, MEDICALS, CRIMINALITY and SECURITY has passed. yea i ordered GCMS a while back, i got it in 30days.

@pma12 Congratulations buddy. U said they requested for your FBI PCC after IP1. Did you not submit it with your application or they wanted an updated one for some reasons?

With my application I attached a letter of explanation with proof that I have requested the FBI PCC but that I haven't received it at that moment. I received it 2 weeks after they ask me to upload it. They gave me 60 days to do it but I only use 14 days.

I sent a mail to CIC a couple of days back and got the below reply from them today.

Hello Sampson,

I can confirm that your application is at our office and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.

We do not require any information from you at the present time. Your application is in queue for officer review and you will be contacted if further information is required.

Based on this reply,

1) Is my application at the Ottawa Visa office now?
2) Will it be transferred to my home country's Visa office? (i.e) New Delhi Visa office (NDVO)
3) It says, "My application is in queue for officer review" Does this mean it will take a long time to process?
4) I am currently in IP1 and can I expect a PPR soon?

Can anyone pls reply if they have a got a similar email like this from CIC and also please respond to my queries? Thanks a lot..

it's their polite way of saying that as long as you're still under 6 months don't email us

it means nothing they're just telling you to wait until your file is processed

Bro I think this is unfair... It's been 3 months since my AOR and I am still stuck in IP1.. And my additional document submitted is still in review.. What can I do to get a detailed update on my application??

Order gcms notes.
Its not unfair. Cic doesnt owe you anything. There are people who are at 23 months post aor. Isnt it unfair to them as well?
