My husband thinks writing emails to LVO will only complicate your case...I.dont know whats right or wrong..we had numerous arguments over it cuz I dont understand how it can complicate my case..he doesnt want to visit MP since its only been 14 months and he thinks we should involve MP after 18 months have passed.

Not necessary, some people don't bother coming back and updating on the forum specially unless they get a problem (add doc req or interview)

Writing an email won't get you noticed. Talk to your MP and get them involved; Now is the time for MP to flex their muscles.

My husband thinks writing emails to LVO will only complicate your case...I.dont know whats right or wrong..we had numerous arguments over it cuz I dont understand how it can complicate my case..he doesnt want to visit MP since its only been 14 months and he thinks we should involve MP after 18 months have passed.

Nothing complicates the case! If the case is straight-forward, it'll be looked upon the same and same goes for complicated cases. Also, MP can be involved from the moment you receive AOR. There are no hard-bound rules for MPs.

Hi @Landing_PR, our MP provided us only general outlines regarding our case when asked for update. Nothing specific. Do we need to specifically ask for something or this is how they work? Like she didn't mention if we are in interview queue, neither did she inform us if our additional documents have been received by the VO or not.

She then forwarded the same to LVO and within 10 business days we got answers to our specific questions from LVO.

I have seen much of a difference in opinion to what these public forums say and what those lawyers/consultants and even general people tell our sponsors there, they tend to believe what is being told because they don't get enough time to research on their own, since being busy with their work and all obviously. Tell your husband about it and do make an inquiry asap.
