Congratulations to people getting PPR and PUM.
Turn by turn but I know everyone's time will come.
My husband and I are currently in Ghana on vacation, wish I could Storm AVO and question their terribly slow process putting strain on marriages.
We are March 2017 applicant and we still have 5 months to the one year mark. Not easy at all but keeping hope alive and rejoicing with the positive news so far on here

We did medical in June. It wasn't 'requested' per se, it was during the system glitch update that we took advantage of it and got it done and passed in June. Since then, it's been deafening silence

@ suggarcoconut, Pls did ur mycic Acct change to approved or decision made before you got your pick up mail. Tomorrow will make my passport 14days with avo and mycic still shows in progress. Also, I dnt no if last week thanksgiving holiday at avo will affect the processing Tnx.

Yes it changed to DM and pick up mail dropped in about an hr. Sorry for responding late. Still trying to settle down.

Landed on Saturday and the process was easy breeeze.

Would it be possible when you have a spare moment to let us know how the landing process went? I plan on travelling with my husband to Canada in January but I'm curious to know how the process works for him. Many thanks!

they just ask her 3 question,where does he work,what Gov agency does he work for and where will you be staying in canada?
PPR is next...i want to thank the house for their support thanks everyone for the advice.
Does any one know the cost of Medical in Ghana?

Yayyy!! Congrats!!! This is wonderful news!!

My husband just did his medical in Ghana at Akai House (it is MUCH faster than the immigration centre) and it cost is 565 ghc. They are open 8am - 5pm.

i concur with @becos Akai house is much easier submitted electronically same day you will have results within 5 days time frame. you can also ask for copy of the medicals result for 65-85gh cedis of you want a copy for yourself. ask for it same day. also no appt is required opened from 8am to 3pm mon- fri WALKIN

Today marks mine 9 working days. So I pray I get it this week. But u can send a mail to avo since yours has passed 2/3weeks.

Please keep flooding the immigration minister's office with email,,,,everyone...
That's what the Filipinos did. Now theirs just takes 3 months...

ok..Aug/Sep 2016 Applicants it's going to start coming....

Up front medical in Aug 2016
Application was received by CIC Mississauga on the 8th Sep 2016...
Medical received and ECAS 3 lines in October ...
Sponsor approval and transferred to Ghana 14th Oct 2016 ....
in between these times I applied for GCMS notes 3-4 times Nov 2016,Feb 2017, May 2017,July 2017
I mailed the immigration minister in March 2017 ( during the operation let's flood the ministers office with email and calls) I love this house..
his office replied in May 2017.....
I mailed My MP Aug 24 2017
I mailed the immigration minister Aug 29 2017
Asked to redo medical on the 5th Sep 2017
re did medical 6th Sep 2017..
Mailed MP on the 14th Sep 2017 again with reference to previous mail
mailed the immigration minister 14th Sep 2017 again...with reference to previous mail
PPR Sep 15th 2017..............

Visa issued Oct 2nd 2017

PUM Oct 5th 2017

Picked up Oct 12th 2017 (DHL)

keep flooding your MP and immigration minister office with mails...(EVERYONE SHOULD EMAIL the Minister's office continuously)
(by the time they receive so many emails from Ghana AVO applicants, they will be caused to effect a change)
flood Accra with more documents....
the idea is to keep your application on the dominant radar.....
It's my prayer that Applications still in the process and others about to submit won't stay this long..IJN
