I submitted on 6th sept and CIC approved on 28th sept. Really they are driving me nuts.....

Hi Everyone. Did any one submit on 12 September? Is there any update for the batch submitted that week (10 - 15 Sep)?

10th has been cleared, mine took five weeks to clear.
one month is nothing for them, they expect us to wait and remain patient.

Yeah true, but here they have our passports. It’s not a wait online, I mean people literally have to halt everything, specially we are expats living in a third country.
On the contrary NDVO takes 8-10 days to deliver passport back and these people are just being sluggish. Earlier they used to take 13-15 days, now it’s just crazy. 30-45 days, I mean are they serious?

My application just got approved. Submitted to VFS Doha on the 12th September, delivered to Abu Dhabi on the 19th September. Good luck to everybody. My watch has finally ended.

They received my new photos today, no reply of course. Will update you once I know anything. Have you had an issue with the photos too?

Yeah me too.. can I know your Nationality if you don’t mind. Plus did you do the photos at VFS itself

Oh I see now, I am Egyptian applying from Saudi Arabia. I didn't use VFS, I sent the new photos by courier again, hoping that the visa office won't take another month to stamp the visa.
