wow they replied back fast but that’s so strange how after a whole year has passed they want to conduct an interview. do you know why they asked you for an interview? any complications in your case?
Well i was not expecting this at all, i received re-medical in April and after that did not receive any doc request and today came to know about interview. I am gonna apply for notes to know the exact reason for interview. In my previous notes there are two things i guess which can be the reasons for interview. firstly i applied one and half year after the marriage and my wife did not visit me. We have a son and they are both coming next month.
The other member could also have applied for sponsorship of his wife from within Canada once she was in. She would have had 'implied' status through out the processing time after TRV expiry. Not to mention the OWP benefit as a bonus
I believe she was in the last year of her degree and they didn't wanna go that route but yes that is always an option.

Your wife did not visit you even once after applying? Or she didn't visit you after the birth of your son? Do you know if your bgc went in process or no?
What she wants and thinks for herself is more important than our suggestions or advices. Every person is grown differently and has different level of patience. You can't decide for anyone what s/he should choose. Someone might had a good relation with her MIL can't decide for the other what she should be doing without knowing her circumstances. I for example is living with my in-laws but I was never obliged to do so. It was my own consent to live and spend some time with my husband's family bcauses I was now a part of it. I am basically from a different city and I am completely independent to go and visit my parents whenever I want. I am never directed by anyone on how long should I stay. Even my husband has given me all the authority to decide for myself where I want to live while he is in Canada. So apparently I am not eligible to give her suggestions that it will be okay to stay with your MIL for few more months because I have no idea how influential her MIL is, unlike my case. I hope and pray you get out of this situation sooner without making anything difficult for yourself and your relationships. This is your test, brace up! All the best!
P. S. It is very hard to live without husband be it your parent's house or in laws :-(
And I am a canadian citizen who has now lived at my husband's house about over a month in total after the wedding. And my MIL is amazing! She showers me with so much love and affection. Never once was I questioned about why I took a summer job instead of being with them. Not every mil is a typical saas and just because I have an understanding and loving one doesn't mean everyone else does too. And yes being away from husband is tough no matter where in the world you are
DM for everyone!! And soon please.
They've hired more students/interns to answer all the web based enquires. To all getting interviews requests, first and most important step is to order GCM notes ASAP in order to better prepare yourself for the questions.

Why don't they hire more people to process applications faster??? We paid them so much fees for what? They should stick to their processing times and finish up the applications that have been waiting for a DM for 12+ months, I really don't understand what's taking them so long.
Today received a reply from LVO that the interview with the principal applicant may be necessary in order to further process this application.
After a long wait another waiting period begins
I am so sorry.
Did your wife not visit you even once after the wedding took place?

I've read that they are conducting more interviews next month so my guess is be the end or the year they will have finished off 2016 applicants. But I know what you mean this waiting game is a torture!

LVO is just testing every single nerve at this point. I don't even know what to believe anymore, they're so unpredictable! and the applicants that don't require an interview... why is their DM taking so long

I'm sure that LVO is prioritizing cases that have crossed 12 months such as yours. They might have started BGC after you sent them add docs. What does mycic say?
Yes BGC is in process for like the past two months
Which date did BGC start? Before or after add doc request,

Sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to have another waiting period because I myself is in queue. The least one wants is to be in interview queue.
Didn't your previous notes give you any hint about interview? Did something like 'review required' or 'interview recommended' was there in the notes?

I have seen cases where the BGC takes a little longer. You are almost there since eligibility is passed.

I don't have a mycic account because of a rep. I don't know the exact date of bgc but PCC was requested in Aug 2017 so I assume that’s exactly when BGC started
