@TanakaM

Starting filling the application, and have many queries- I'd be extremely grateful if you could answer the below:

1. Under Personal Activities- I already see that my Education and Employment has been pre-populated. Should I remove it as it's already mentioned under Work History?
2. Re: Personal Activities again, If I selected Unemployed, what description do I put- Can I say 'searching for jobs'. Also what do I fill under 'Name of company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate'- Is Not Applicable a right one?
3. Do we also put a description of the work performed in addition to the job title under Personal Activities- this is for employment which I haven't included under Work History
4. Under Travel History, I landed in the UK in Sep 2006 and spent time till Dec 2009. I have travelled to 4 other countries in Europe and 2 trips to India during this time frame- do I need to put my travel to UK which is before the 10 years time frame?
5. Travel History question- I'm a frequent business traveller, can I travel to other countries after eAPR/AOR, and do I need to submit a PCC if I travel to the UK again? Alternatively, do I have to inform CIC if I have many travels after eAPR? For instance, if I have a US Trip next month after eAPR- should this be mentioned to CIC?

No. Under personal history, you include all you educational and employment history. Everything you have done.

2. Re: Personal Activities again, If I selected Unemployed, what description do I put- Can I say 'searching for jobs'. Also what do I fill under 'Name of company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate'- Is Not Applicable a right one?

If you say unemployed it shouldn't ask you for all those details.

3. Do we also put a description of the work performed in addition to the job title under Personal Activities- this is for employment which I haven't included under Work History

Simply enter the information they require, nothing more.
See answers in red.

You do not need to inform CIC of travel post AOR.
So you will be free to travel as much as you want.

Dear what i have to do with this money after maintaining my 6 months statement and filling e-APR along with bank letter, statement and gift deed. Should i have to hold my money in my account or i can withdraw?
Firstly, if you keep the money in your account for 6 months+ there is no need for the gift deed. Therefore you wont need to submit a bank statement. Just submit the bank letter with the required details.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Secondly, CIC may ask for an update of POF at anytime, thus it is best to keep the funds up until you land in Canada.

All the best

Does the gift deed decrease the time period of 6 months. Because its difficult to hold $16000 for a long period. If gift deed can reduce the money holding period then it will be really helpfull.
I read the info regarding pof on cic web but they could not mention clearly that what is requirements. There is no info that should i have to hold the full amount for 6 months or should i have to provide a gift deed .

My wife has been chosen by her company to apply for ICT Intra-Company Transfer. Now, in the meantime during her process goes on. Can she also apply for PR as a couple? Will two simultaneous application affect either of them?

I have some questions regarding POF please:
1. Should we show statements of all the credit and debit cards we hold?
2. Can me or my spouse have any debts in any banks? - Will that be asked?
3. From when in the six months calculated? From the time you enter the pool or even before?

Hi guys,
I have a query for my friend, he has paper based application with IRCC and its been 08 months, by this time we were expecting medical, but meanwhile we received a letter saying that application is likely to be refused as visa officer isn't satisfied with the IELTS Score. Below is the IELTS result

Listening: 6.5
Reading: 3.5
Writing: 6.0
Speaking: 6.0

Please: He applied based on the nomination received from SINP (Saskatchewan PNP) on family economy program.

This letter is of 03 pages, the VO mentioned following points in 03 pages letter:
a. VO is not satisfied with the english competency, the candidate applied under the NOC of Lawyer advocate, and such profession requires high english level , e.g CLB 8.0
b. The above mentioned ielts score satisfies the requirement of family nominee program of province, however it is not enough to be able to contribute as potential candidate for the economy of canada.
c. I understand that you have family connection in the province to support you, however, they can't help you much in your professional life to stabilize with the complex legal preceding of a lawyer's job.
d. You've 90 days to submit any document to support your position, else you application is likely to be declined.

So, We left with 35 days more to reply them and thinking on following possibilities: Pls advise
a. we should submit them revised/improved ielts result, equal to CLB 7 or 8.
b. in worst case, on not succeeding in ielts, we can hire some solicitor in canada, as his brother is living there, and they can claim that ielts score meets the PNP requirement, therefore he got the nomination, or any other reason which a local canadian solicitor may assist in.
c. or we can submit a revised ielts, let see whether it gets accepted, in case it is failed, application will get declined, can we high lawyer at that stage?

what if he couldn't produce improved ielts result i.e upto CLB, what could be the consequences and and counter way-forward.

Thanks for reading and your opinion.

Regards,
Abdul Qayyum

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
I did all this..but My profile was ineligible.. I can not understand why?
I am 30 years old.I did ECA.IELTS test 6.5.
I am a dentist...why i was ineligible
