More frustration...

Yesterday got a second Photo Re-submission Request. Pics again didn't meet the specification.
Took pics at Magenta Photo Studio at Fairview Mall Toronto, so ppl, don't go there.

Landed in the end of May and it's been 4,5 months since...

I landed on 16th may. I was requested for my pic on 24th july. I send them on 28th july. till now waiting for my PR. Guys any hope in October?

Landed - May 24. Photo resubmit - July 19. Second Photo request - October 5.

i got photo retake on july 19th and photos was delivered on may 28th. we got cards for 3 of the family members yesterday so expect your card within next wee.

Rabih..........can u share form which country ......you sent photos..........and whether PRTD process is simple.......or is there any risk..........can they deny PRTD.....on any reason........if one comes in his home country after short landing to finish some commitments.......

country is lebanon, prtd process was simple just follow this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/index.asp and provide COPR, SIN documents, bank papers any document you processed in canada. i think they dont refuse it if you have enough days on your PR cycle that guarantee you can accumulate 730 days in the future. just apply it is easy

10-may-2017: Landed in Toronto
25-may-2017: returned back to my home country to finish work commitments
19-July-2017 : received email requesting new photos
28-July-2017 : Photos received by IRCC Immigration Canada (photos was sent on 24th of july via dhl from outside canada)
05-oct -2017 : PR cards for 3 of the 4 family members were delivered

I called today to get status of the remaining card they said the 3 delivered card appears as shipped which confirm current status and the fourth appear n process and photos were delivered which mean process has begun and it is being printed and processed. agent said it does happen that same file PR cards are delivered separately on different dates.

I am just trying to call them right now.

I just called them up. I photos were received by them on 16th. But the guy said it would be laying around in the room. They will only open the package after two months of the receiving date. So he said my photo will be opened in November second week. And if it still doesn't match the criteria, I'll have another photo request and have to wait two more months and so on. The guy said they are processing July 28th Photo requests. I cannot imagine they are super slow.

Called them today, the agent said they are still processing July 27th. Very frustrating to think about the economic and lost job opportunity because of this stupid thing.

As i have found my status while applying my uci/id no,showing "you are permanent residance"now what time will take to get my INITIAL/NEW/NEVER RECEIVED/FIRST PR CARD.after submitting my new photo on request by case processing centre sydney novascotia

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Can he get his photographed clicked from Home Country and get that stamped or hand written from there itself and send it to me and i can then send to processing center. I mean can we get the photograph stamped or hand written from outside canada or they accept photographs only stamped in canada.

Secondly, Do we have to get both the photographs signed and stamped or only one?
