Why Cic not updating anything. Gcms notes shows medical is passed. bud cic still medical received.

Mine also showing medical recived but my gc key said medial passed

Hiiii friends...
Day before yesterday we have enquired through MP office & yesterday we got a mail.. in that they have mentioned
"Eligibility of the applicant and background checks have not started yet. It is within processing time which is 20 months for Sri Lanka"

But in gc key eligibility is show as "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"

It means eligibility check started or not? Please clear my doubt...

Thats correct now its 20 months. Colombo has increased the processing times to 20 months.

Wow this is burtual...but when i contacted my MP they said 12 months..

1st time i inquired thorough MP in June then it said 18 months . and again second time in september , it saying 20 months. Colombo wants us to separate from each others not bring together.
i applied december 2016.

MP means "member of parliament"

You need to contact your MP in Canada. If you are being sponsored by your spouse then you should contact the MP responsible for the area where your spouse lives.

Did my medical on November 2016.. one month only have for medical expire... definitely will get re medical request and my friend got re medical request last week... and she did her first medical on September 2016

my husband did medical in october 24th 2016. still i didnt get the remedical request. The gcms notes shows that it passed. but the cic shows it was received. so today my consultant emailed colombo just to remind them the medical is going to expire . we'll see.

its easy .find your local Member of Parliament. go to his office. actually receptionist will help you to sent a email to Colombo office. you need your full name your spouses full name, File number or UCI number and.date of birth
