As i have said before that my file has been transferred to LVO and online on GCkey it says We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. I have been visiting my husband for couple of months now and i didn't know how to inform cic. i am 5 months pregnant and will be going back to Canada very soon. How can i inform them about my pregnancy and that i am with my husband? Also roughly how long will it take now?

Screenager are u currently living in Pak? I also applied from outside Canada (as a sponsor Living exlusively outside Canada)and living in Pak..Now my wife BGC started a week ago.I would like to move back Canada next month to organize things.
Will it effect the process of immigration as I will move back to Canada and in the forms I mentioned I am living outside?
Pls guide.

No it won't matter. Once you are back in Canada and if her case is still in process, you can update LVO through CSE that you are back in Canada and your residential address is XXX.

Since the sponsor moved to live with the applicant during the PR application, you should have informed LVO through a Case Specific Enquiry or email.

Once u do that, be prepared that LVO will ask you to submit "proof of sponsor's intent to return to Canada" because you we no longer living in Canada. If LVO is not satisfied that you are going to return to Canada that they might not give PR to
your husband.

There is a lot of info on this thread and outside this thread regarding proof of intent to return to Canada. Have a look and feel free to ask in case of any query. A few members have submitted that and they will help u out.

Hi guys,

Just updating you all on our case. It has been a while since I posted my last message. We had received a PFL on August 11, 2017 and we submitted a response to it before 11 September 2017.
BY THE GRACE OF ALMIGHTY ALLAH, We have received another PFL on mycic today. The officer has gone insane and probably skipped some pages of our response as he claims that we didn't address those concerns. We'll be submitting the info again with additional information in 30 days and hopefully we'll receive our daughter's amended birth certificate by then.

Has anyone received 2 PFLs before?????????

They are doing their job because these officers jobs are hard they are the ones who is the first line who they let in into Canada they do not want someone with an criminal record

The LVO started processing our app on 3 August and now its almost two months since LVO started processing our app but there is no change in GcKey. Usually after file transfer BGC Status change to Not Applicable but not in my case, my BGC status is the same since i've linked my app to online account. It says: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." Is that normal? Have they really started processing our app? im worried......

Alrighty,theres a new twist in my case,my husband went to MP last week and today she told him that LVO emailed her that my decision has been sent on 19th july.But none of us i.e PA,sponsor or lawyer recieved any email about it.When a few weeks back my lawyer emailed them about whats taking so long to inform us about the decision(DM shows since 21st july),so they emailed him last week that they dont know which one is our current representative(they misplaced the form of our new representative).We emailed the form again and they just sent us a confirmation email.

Does anybody has any idea what is it heading towards?

I am in the same boat. except that my file got in process in July. So technically i should be worried more

No need to worry as average processing time is 8-10 months.
When id u apply, do you want to be added to the 2017 spreadsheet?

Hi guys so today I called cic and got some weird info.
- you do not need an interview
- medical results have been successfully passed
- we are viewing whether you meet the eligibility
- background check in process
- we need more documents in order to process your application further

So they requested additional documents on July 28 (docs sent on August 7) and then again on August 23 (docs sent on Sept 18). Are they just too lazy to update the additional documents requested or are they gonna request more documents?
I don’t know what else they’re gonna request because they’ve already asked for re-med, pcc from dubai, updated communication proofs, and my visit proof to pakistan. So what else could it be??

I already sent my application last week. and I didn't mention the names in native language Urdu on IMM5406 additional family information form.

I couldn't enter urdu honestly I tried and pdf was not letting me save it.

I saw one applicant got package back because of this reason.

now im worried. can I reprint and send this to be added to my file?
