@Shahzee, Please also update on the forum when you receive further updates from CIC.
Will do. I'm hoping to receive AOR1 by end of this week or early next week. BTW I initially submitted my application on June 1st 2017 which was returned back to me on July 19th 2017 as CIC (Mississauga) claimed multiple forms had few pages missing along with few supporting documents. I have no clue what they did with my initial application because I submitted everything as per checklist. I'm guessing because CIC (Mississauga) updated few forms and checklist in June 2017 after I submitted the application someone at CIC (Mississauga) was having a rough day or something and returned the application back.
Oh ok - My BGC went in progress in June 2017.
My bgc stated We are processing your background check
My bgc stated We are processing your background check
This is mine: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Question: So, my husband is offered a job that he doesn't want to refuse. Do we tell CIC about his potential new workplace or do we sit tight at the old job until God knows when we see the golden ticket?

How long do bgcs take btw? any idea?

Have you ordered GCMS notes? Don't rely on GCkey info.
Will order gcms in a day or two ... busy these days
Order GCM notes and contact your MP.
Who is this MP ??
MP is: Member of Parliament. Depending on where you're living, contact your MP who can ask for information on your behalf.

If im not not misunderstood , u mean to say that as sponsor is filing gcms so thats sponsor living in canada should involve MP in that

No idea - some times it takes few hours to go from BGC to PPR and some times it's 6 months and counting.

When he joins the new job, you should inform them..it might come under their background check so it's better to inform them after his joining.

Yes sponsor has to contact MP and Sponsor has to order GCMS notes on the behalf of the principal applicant
Hopefully PPR for us soon
Fingers crossed!!

But would it delay the process, you think?
