it's hard to tell @Ugoswife, because some of us have sent unsolicited additional documents. We won't know if they would have asked for it had we not.

Yeah. It makes it difficult to know if those prompts were real but just sent out at the wrong time. i have just recently sent unsolicited additional documents as well so lets see how it goes.

We got our PPR request this morning!!!!!
They want police report, schedule A and passport photos on top of his medical! We have 15 days! Yay!!!!!!! Finally the journey has come to an end! 398 days or 13 months and 2 days!! Much love and luck to all those waiting!! Very soon all of this will end in happiness! I'm praying for you all always!!

congratulations! at least something is happening, from my observation it seems it takes them an average of 4-5 months after AOR1 to request for medicals. Still waiting for mine. Fingers crossed.

This's what my timeline says...so that means i'm pass the 1 yr mark then..because today is September 26.so its been 1yr and 6 days?just want to be should before i start calling them or emailing them.so that means the counter down start from when they received your application?not when they started processing it?just need some classifications

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 20, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on November 7, 2016.

The processing time for Nigeria is currently 17 months and I think 16 months for Ghana so calling them might not be very helpful like we have come to discover. however you can feel free to continue updating your file with new information through the webform or Accra email address. yes, they count starting from when your documents are first received so your application is one year old. mine would be one year old in exactly a weeks time. we can only keep being hopeful.
