Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Hello,

Do any of the June 2017 applicants received any updates on their sponsorship? Last time I noticed a change in my account was right after my AOR in August, when I uploaded the documents. Utter silence after that.

No :/ After sending PCC & Schedule A form nothing has changed (background check status is still N/A and haven't heard anything about Sponsor Approval).

When you receive OWP are you able to start working the next day? I have seen some posts about then having to apply for a SIN. If someone could explain to me what happens after you get your OWP to actually starting work that would be great.

You can get your SIN within an hour after have the OWP in hand. So technically you can start working on the same day you get your OWP.

Nothing Yet. I am a Feb 2017 applicant. Medical is done and passed. Background check is in progress but I haven't heard anything in the last three months.

When did your medical request arrived? Me, i am may 2017 applicant but no medicak request yet until now. Hopefully before end of september. Finger crossed!

Don't worry too much. I applied late July and got my AOR on 09/13... and I believe that was pretty average. I think they kind of slowed down over the summer. It's vacation time and all that I suppose. Maybe someone has a similar timeline to you and knows more. But I know that waiting is annoying and I just wanted to let you know, that I don't think there's any reason to worry because you haven't heard from them yet.

Nothing either. I'm a May 16 applicant. I received the AOR and linked same day and there was the Sched A and PCC Request in my account and I uploaded those the same day too. As of now, in the table, the "Additional Documents" row says "The Additional documents you provided have been uploaded" and the "Background Check" says "Not Applicable".

No Med Request yet either. I know of a April 11 applicant still waiting on med request.
It used to be that med request came 120-130 days from date app received regardless of the progress of anything else as a somewhat fixed timeline. But right now it seems IRCC has been slow and hasn't been issuing med requests, which is frustrating. Once a bunch of April and early May applicants I know of receive their med requests, we can receive ours too.

I have successfully linked my PR application but no luck with linking my OWP. I really want to see the status of my OWP because I paid $100 only and not $255. And no I have not paid for the right of PR so there is nothing they can 'borrow' the short OWP fee from

Your right on time with the AOR i expect mine around 4th october based on timelines, as for the OWP it may take a few days or a week after your application AOR to see you or OWP application. (my theory is based on what others have said on here)

I am a Aug 3rd applicant and got AOR on 21st Sept. So yours should be around the corner in coming weeks.

No AIP or SA yet, i am guessing its pending because of the background check. We didnt apply for OWP with the application, didnt know we should. So applied separately in August, hoping it will come around November...

We received Med request in June, four months after AOR. so you should expect it soon (end of sept).
