Guys, Iam sep 2016 apllicnt, case is in LVO, my wife is Canadain citizen, she had no liking for our traditional wedding cermony, we had nothing like Ruskhtee etc but yes my family nd friends were there during the ceremony and we added all the info in the file.... we couldnt follow Traditional cermony will it cause any problem? Thanks
It is possible that visa office will ask you regarding the traditional wedding ceremonies. It has been a year since you applied, how come you haven't heard from LVO till now? Do you have a lawyer?
Well, in July LVO asked for Urdu Nkkah nama and I dispatched it, they never asked for other things..I mean additional info. My wife shares a different religion, culture thats why I wanted to know.

In Pakistan it is not common to marry outside religion and culture so they might ask for additional documents or need to take an interview to clear their doubts. But if your marriage is genuine, then you have nothing to worry and you can explain everything.
Ask for a status update from LVO using email inquiry.
Dear All,
How many of you who submitted notarized photocopy of Urdu Nika Naama but still LVO asked you to submit original Urdu Nika Namma? Please comment.
Salam.
I sponsored my husband and child in oct 2014 my case was dragged ane i had an interview since i do hijab and therefore there were no photos of our marriage.i was called for an interview to determine the bonafide of my relation and to deteemine my intent to move there with my husband.
My application was refused and the officer clearly told me she was a 100% satisfied with our relation but still we failed to prove our intent to move.
Now i have filed an appeal and i want to temporarily visit canada with both my children, i had a son 3 months back.
I want to kickstart my settlement plans and buy a house there while my husband stays back in pakistan.
Should i apoly for a trv for my children what are the chances that it will be denied ? How am i supposed to go about it ? I want to visit for a month.
Note that my children are not citizens as im not a naturalized nor a born citizen.
Yes i did , received them in Aug . Should i apply for new notes or is it too soon ? I was planning to request it by end of sept. Do you suggest to apply now or wait ?

No it shouldn't. They don't care about cultures and customs so long as you can establish a strong relationship to your spouse. I.e. Via letters from family and friends, lots of post wedding, wedding and pre wedding pictures and lots of communication proof. My husband and I didn't have a traditional wedding there were no rasams done because I don't follow any of that. I know people who didn't even do valima and got their pr in less than a year. So just focus on showing a strong bond to your wife, and commitment to your marriage and her.
New here. Urgent response needed. As PA I have not received a single email yet. Now the file is transferred to LVO, how I will get any new information from them?
Did you check the email add you provided to make sure it is correct. Secondly how did you submit your PCC and schedule A if you didn't receive and email? Do you have a lawyer?
