Hi everyone, we got an email for an interview next week. We were only asked for my husband to bring a copy of a signed photo ID of the mother of his son, and passport photos of his son. His son is non accompanying.
We will be busy preparing for this. Please pray for us. Congrats to @umuchima .

I can't agree less. Nothing yet oo, my passport was received on tuesday at AVO so am just sitting back watching them. These people like putting people under pressure, knowing one has limited time to land I wonder y they take so long stamping a passport. Perhaps they think we own private jets. Some people work and need time to sort themselves b4 relocating, they tell u not to start making commitments to traveling till u receive back ur passport yet they still take ages to stamp a visa. It is well anyway.
We received your application for permanent residence on November 2, 2016.

Thank you to everyone. Although we all don't know each other personally we all have become friends and supporters of one another. And I just want to say how much I appreciate the love, support, prayers from everyone. This experience has tested us all more than we will ever know and I pray with all my might that PPR lays ahead of us this week. I know this is the universe just testing our patience and our ability to perservere through diversity. I feel as if I'm on the edge and hopefully soon will be able to jump into happiness and the next stage of our lives. Thank you again. Much love and prayers to you all.
@becos I must say that you've been so wonderful on this forum and a source of encouragement to all.
Please don't be afraid, you are there already and God has given you victory..
Please I want to hear the good news come next week.
Good luck.!!!

Hey everyone,
Please has anyone been asked for additional supporting documents of relationship before... how long does it take to hear from AVO after submission of this additional proofs and also what's probably the next step after that ?
Response please.
Thanks.

Just remain calm and be prayerful. The next step will be their decision on your case which we part would be PPR. from what we have seen, there isn't a specific time frame to expect to hear from them after submitting additional docs.
@Kwamtin and @nwaefulu_716, I guess u guys are Dec 6 2016/2017 applicants. Am Nov applicant so in my case everything was sent upfront. My status maintained only the ist 3 lines from time of application till PPR, nothing changed. As u can see it didn't even show I passed medical.
So these are two different processes. Most of us who applied earlier the ist ever correspondence u might get might just be PPR like my case unlike the newer applicants where they ll keep asking for one thing or the other.
