Hello Folks. I did my test on Sep 8th and passed. Got DM on the same day. Waiting for Oath now.
My citizenship office is Scarborough. Here are my timelines:
Application Recieved: Feb 16, 2017
AOR: Feb 22, 2017
IP: Feb 26, 2017
Test Invite: Aug 08, 2017
Test Date: Sep 08, 2017
DM: Sep 08, 2017

I would appreciate if you share your experience about my question.

When we apply for Citizenship,
can my child apply for Citizenship with expired passport?

Do Permanent Residents of Canada need valid passport (given by homecountry)untill we get our citizenship?

We have our PR cards and they will bevalid when we apply. We have not leave or are not going to leave Canada untill we get Citizenship. Also she attends school now.


If you had had kind of like this issue before applying for Citizenship, could you please give me advice and/or share your experience please.

It seems there are no oaths scheduled in Oct which is kind of weird

Are you on DM or in process? WE were told in Vancouver it will take between 3 and 5 months for oath invitation but then I got mine after six weeks.
