Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Hello need dome help in terms of timeline.Applied inland spousal application on 3 Feb 2017 and received medical request on 2 nd June 17 and changed status on 20 June 2017 for medical exam .Now i m waiting for request for interview or for passport request so anyone knows how long it will gone take for the final request and also traveling India in Dec so is it OK to travel India in this situation?

it seems as though there have been a few as of today looks like they have started on the July 25th applications might be worth calling and checking with CIC to see if there any issues with application. Im tracking my application timeline based on that information as i submitted on August 17th i expect my AOR around 4th October.

My application was received on July 26. No updates yet.

Step 7: Submit your application package
Note: Before submitting your application, you should always make a photocopy for your own records. You may need information from your package after you submit your application.

Now that you’ve finished preparing your application, you can submit it for processing. You should do the following:

1. Place a copy of the checklist on top of your complete application package. This will help make sure the application can be processed as quickly as possible when it arrives in our office.
2. If you’re applying under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada class and the person you are sponsoring is also applying for an open work permit, after the checklist, place:
   • the work permit application form and documents (if applicable) and
   • a separate fee payment receipt for the cost of the work permit application
3. The order of documents should be as follows:
   • checklist;
   • open work permit application (and supporting documents), if applicable;
   • any barcode pages;
   • supporting documents, in the order they’re listed on the checklist.

One more glitch...

Friday I checked mycic and "Review of additional documents" changed to "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.". I wasn't expecting any request at this time (except the medical exam), so I called CIC to ask about this update. The attendant told me that this is a glitch, they don't need anything right now and the application still in progress.....
We still waiting for the medical request and Sponsor AOR...

Same thing, April applicant still waiting for the medical... It seems the process has slowed a bit but I expect to receive it this month...

Wow OWP in 2 months...my spouse had been waiting since June 28th...maybe it'll be any day now. Congrats !

Thank you all who answer my many questions on this forum! You helping me tremendously... I have another question : On form IMM0008 question 3 it asks for number of family members in the application. It is just me and my wife who is sponsoring.. So is it 2 or is 1 for just me.

My application was submitted on July 17th and CIC sent AOR on August 23rd. They started processing it on August 22nd.

When should I expect correspondence from them again and when do you think first stage approval will be completed? 4 months, 6 months?
