Since I submitted my passport on 26th to VFS and it reached AUH on 27th August, do you reckon I should be getting the COPR anytime after 20th September? 21st is a long weekend so do you reckon it will be the week starting 24th September?
I have a feeling it will take close to 4 weeks since there was one long weekend already and 21st Sept again is a long weekend.

mate, I think one week delay should be fine ! I submitted my PP on 28th August. Im expecting it to get back by 3rd week of september but, 4th week to the max !!!

I think ADVO has started to process applications proactively off late, but yes the long weekends may cause a bit of delay. If you consider my timeline as standard then you should be getting back your passport by 20th.
Let us hope they respond to your request in time so you can switch to your Plan B, if required. And, do let us know once you have a reply. All the best
