I submitted my application on 18th July 2017. They received my package on July 20 still I haven't heard anything from them. wondering what is going on. Please help.

AFAIK the sponsor needs to meet the LICO requirements for the last three years. The cosigner is only needed if the sponsor isn't able to meet the minimum requirements. If both you and your husband meet the minimum income requirement for EACH of the last three years either separately or jointly then you'r eligible to apply. If you didn't file a return for 2014 but your husband's income for that particular year meets the requirement, you should be fine. You can not calculate the income as a whole for the entire 3 year period, look at it separately for each year then see if you're eligible or not.

i am on the same boat as you, but worse. i'm only here in Canada for 1.5 years. and i am still processing my wife's PR to come here.

If you're here for only 1.5 years, you're not eligible unless you're in QC. You need the tax returns for at least last 3 years (1 year for QC) and also meet the minimum income requirements as well.

Hi, CIC have requirements on 3 years income (2013-2015) so I don't think you can apply unless you have co-signer and his/her income meet the LICO.
Please check for the requirement before you put your interest in the draw next year. I am one of unlucky but qualified sponsor and I didn't get picked for both round selections this year and not sure when I can be lucky enough to get picked. I am really hoping for some sponsors like you that are not qualified for it DO NOT put your interest in the pool! It is really unfair for other sponsors who are qualified and have waited for years to apply.
For your case, please consider to put interest in the pool in 2019.

It's the number from your receipt for the payment you made for the sponsorship application. It starts with a letter followed by 9 digits.

Finally got Decision Made in ecas! Delayed as per the trend but alas its made
Whats next? email for acceptance/rejection? When to expect it?

congrats. we got the email with approval and where the files was sent a few days after we saw decision made.

I have checked my confirmation number which is in the second lottery list. But have not received any email for invitation yet.

If the info was entered correctly; it shows the app hasn't been uploaded yet. Keep checking and it should come up in a few days. They seem to be running a bit behind as compared to others who already got the AOR.
