Ah ok - Good to know. One of my friend's got his application rejected today so I was anxiously checking my status. I'll retry in a bit.
Whose application got rejected? when he/she applied?

Sorry to hear about your friend, must be awful after all the waiting. Hope you hear good news soon though!
Why was his application rejected? Did they reject after interview?
Can you please tell us why he's got rejected? and when he applied?
He applied in Feb 2016. He had an interview in May 2017 when I had mine. At his interview, he was told that they are admissible to Canada however had to provide few additional documents. Which they mutually agreed on. However, when they were submitting their documents, they also submitted few documents voluntarily which made them get PFL as the officer said those documents weren't mentioned at the interview and they are having a hard time understanding the application. And today their application was rejected.

Which few additional documents they provided voluntarily? and what was PFL said? I am sorry it just doesn't make sense unless they had provided something fake? why they interviewed him though?

Obviously I don't know the specifics since I didn't go through their application. Also, I doubt anyone would be providing fake documents especially when there's so much at stake. A very high profile lawyer was handling his case. However, I believe he didn't mention that they lived in the States briefly and sent in the FBI clearance voluntarily.

When a PFL comes, MyCIC indicates it's a PFL letter.
For Additional document, it'll be a request asking you to submit whatever they are looking for ie: Police Certificate, Remed, Schedule A etc.
Just ace the interview. Don't talk too much and only respond to questions which are asked. The more you talk, the more you dig yourself in trouble. Try to make and maintain an eye contact. Be professionally dressed. Remember, you need to put your best foot forward. Be calm and respectful towards the officers. Everyone is very nice and friendly and at the end of the day, they are only doing their job. Take your passports and all supporting documents. Don't take extra stuff (ie medicines, gum, perfume). Above all, pray and trust in Allah.

HELLO EVERY ONE i apply in november for my wife today i receive email from lvo (need communication proof passport stamp to vist pakistan and financial support proof after submission file ) 45 day limit for submission every thing ) my question is its last satge or not if not how it long thanksss
Hi All. Anyone received reply from LVO that file awaits initial review? Or any other December 2016 applicant who has any updates? Please share.
So I didn't get any reply to my urgent email. Surprise surprise. I wonder if I should just keep trying intermittently? I think I read somewhere that CSEs don't show up in GCMS notes but the emails you send do get mentioned, even if they don't reply to you. I guess that would be good, if anything, as long as you don't fire them emails everyday (then you'll probably just get added to their spam list).
I'm supposed to get my notes tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Totally going to my MP if I don't get them.
