I have two questions for which I need help
- I have an AOR date of Aug 29th. It seems US FBI has made a small error in my last name for the PCC but all the other details are correct. My surname is Agrawal but they have put in as Agarwal. Do you think I should reach out to FBI team to reissue the letter with correct spelling and re-upload it. Is there any risk
- My passport is expiring on Mar 31st 2018 which roughly 7 months for now. Do you guys suggest I should renew the passport now or do it after PPR and Visa
Hi Guys!
I finally got "The Golden E-Mail" this morning at 4:31 am for "The PPR." That's a great relief and I'm highly ecstatic. I'd like to extend my courteous gratitude to all the members of this forum who share their knowledge and experiences with us all and I must say that one really gets enlightened to the core by reading all the threads posted here. Good luck to all other aspirants who are due to receive their PPRs soon. May lord be with us all. Amen!

Hello all.
I got the AOR on 9th June. I am the primary applicant. My husband's PCC from home country was getting delayed so instead of waiting we applied and submitted a copy of the receipt of the PCC.
On 10th July we received an email asking us to upload the PCC as an additional document on or before 3rd September. We managed to upload it by 2nd August. The status of the additional document changed several times and now reads 'we do not need additional document's.
We have passed our medicals and also received our UCI before the 10th July letter.
I was not vigilant enough to monitor how the background check status has been changing. It currently states that the application is in progress.
Based on your experience, are you able to determine what stage we are at?
Thanks and good luck to all.
I'm posting this message in the Aug AOR thread as we submitted our additional document on 2nd August 2017.
