Long time ago a spreed sheet was being maintained and most of applicants have got their parents immigration. This spreadsheet was never updated over year and half but 80-90% have got immigration.

Don't know the evaluation procedure of CIC, why it taking so much time in many cases, my status is also same as yours and of poonam.., waiting after second medical......

I am in the same boat too. My file is in New Delhi right now. My parents had their done their 2nd medical in June 2017. My mother has to go through finger prints too which was done in Jan 2017. I am so frustrated to see "in process" status online. Do they update online? Or what will be the next step?? How many chances of having interview of their dependent children??
Anyone have ideas please tell me

It depends what method of communication you have asked? if you have been receiving notification through email in the past then request will come through email, if you have been receiving paper mail then passport request will come through paper mail.

Mine is also same., 1 may 2017 second medical received by cic, nothing happened after that....., i was thinking to request local MP of canadaa.

It might help getting in touch with your federal MP. They can normally get more information than what the call center may tell you or what e-cas shows.

But only the gcms notes can really tell you what is happening with your file.

It's true I have contact the MP several times and finally they gave me a time limit for the next status Just email your MP then they will give you updates

I went through the Federal MP too. They said" the eligibility requirements assessment has been finalized on November 29, 2016, Finger prints ( for my mother) still in process, which was fine Jan 2017".
I don't know what's going on right now. This inquiry was done in end of May.

"Application currenty in queue for final review. But we cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized "

Shall i now request MP ,our second medical was received by CIC on 1 may 2017., anyone got same reply ?
