My AOR is January 12, BC PNP - got GCMS notes yesterday and found out i am in the security screening.

I am selected for SS.
They started my SS the same date my BG turned to IP2 - April 28th.

mine - only on July 19...

Yes.
I called by August 5 and they told me that the officer left a note that he will check back by the end of August.
I called this morning and the representative told me whoever told me that to check by the end of the month shouldnt tell me this information. !!!
So she didnt update me even though its my 211 day since AOR.
I thought that I'll hear something positive but she dropped me down. She didnt give me any info. Just wait
I wonder how long it will take for SS??!?!

Yeah... I bet the agents just see everything that we see on myCIC account.
Looks like average waiting period for SS - 5 - 12 months.....

Could you tell me that how many days did Delhi office took to stamp ur wife's passport, and you will have to get your visa status changed to PR first,which I think you can do that by exiting Canada from the nearest border and reentering,eg.usa and then reenter Canada by road. I am not sure the, it's just an idea. You can enquire further.. All the best!!

My friend called Ottawa today regarding another inquiry and he asked the agency about my cec delayed progress. The agency said that the long process is due to background check which involves checking with the other counties. I am from China and lived in Australia for 2 years. Not sure if this affects my CEC progress. What is everyone's background?
