Guys when I checked my cic account now under the details section it showed "updated" and when I got back to that page again after checking the status it showed "submitted"

What update did you get? It happened to me too. It showed 'Updated' but after checking the update, it went back 'Submitted'. I think it's normal. For me, it changed to 'review of eligibility'.

you have very good academics, its not a mater of talk whether you choose diploma or degree you will get your visa for sure. Its up to you which suits your future prospects better and rest dont take it in respective of visa point of view, you will get your visa as per my thoughts

But what do you suggest me to do -diploma or four year degree assuming no financial problem

Bachelor's is obviously better than a diploma because it opens the door to Master's, Phd and so on.

Applied on 20th july vfs . Ahmedabad....medical passed today....and they are reviewing my eligibility criteria....so whats average time after this....when will i get approval ...any idea???
