Background check changed

Hi.

In my express entry- FSW application, my background check changed from "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" to "Not Applicable" and now again to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Can you tell me if its normal?

Absolutely. It seems like you are in IP2 but not sure when I don't see your timeline.

I wonder what's left to be done in IP2, I am stuck at NA2 for more than 2 weeks now, AOR - 30th May, meds cleared - 6th July, BGC - not applicable - 12th August , RPRF fees paid in advance, everything else cleared based on conversation I had with Agent on CIC number, said security is the only thing left on my file.

Never been outside India all my life.

Any input is appreciated, how long should I expect to wait more?

Ip2 -> secuity check and immigraion officer review and approval. If your file is straight forward it shouldnt take long. Whats your visa office?

I filed my visa from India in May 2017, however I traveled to Canada after that and requested for address update.

I am confused as to what my VO will be.

Hi Dr. Feras, I live in BC. And i filed residency myself. So I'm assuming its CPC- Ottawa.

Im a newbie to this forum. Idk much tbh! But can you tell me if you can talk to CIC Agents and they tell you your status over phone?

Most likely Ottawa, as thats where inland applications are processed

Im a newbie to this forum. Idk much tbh! But can you tell me if you can talk to CIC Agents and they tell you your status over phone?

Since you're already in canada, use this number
888-242-2100. Be prepared to try atleast a few times ... usual wait is anywhere from 8 minutes to 30 min.

It only works on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. It also gives you generic update, to speak to an agent u need to press 0 after they give you the update.
